Expert witness, testimony

Pam Oakes was born in the original, automobile mecca of the world –

Detroit, MI.

And, the family is celebrated their 100th, documented year in the

automotive industry, in 2017. Her great-grandfather Leonard Smith,

grandfather Ralph Smith and father Jerry Oakes (who worked with Pam

for years) were professional technicians.

She started Pam’s Motor City Automotive, in 1995.  In the beginning, Pam was the sole employee -- technician, service writer and “bottle washer." She built-up the repair facility to a 12-bay shop with 15 employees. Even though she sold the shop after 20 years (Jan. 2015), she still turns wrenches just about every day for technician education, case studies for automotive companies and as an expert witness.
